The Wolves finished 8th at State with 4 individual placers: Travis Cardenas took 1st, Matty Gazda took 2nd, Preston Shorter took 4th and Sammy Smith took 5th.
The Wolves finished 3rd as a team at the Sectional Tournament. They had 6 placers including 2 champions. Travis Cardenas and Matty Gazda took 1st, Sammy Smith and Eddie Malatin took 2nd, and Jerry Nguyen and Preston Shorter took 3rd.
Boys Varsity Dual Meet Record: 19-8
The wolves had several solid individual finishes at the Brad Jones Invitational. Matty Gazda took 1st, Travis Cardenas, Eddie Malatin, Preston Shorter and Mia Ybarra took 2nd, Amanda Moody and Alexandria Zarate took 5th, and Charles Moser took 6th.
Boys finished 9th at Flowing Wells with 3 individual placers. Matty Gazda took 2nd, Preston Shorter took 3rd, Austin Lloyd took 6th. Kaylee Rivera took 6th in the girls tournament.
Boys finished with 6 individual placers at the Mountain View Duals on 12/16. Travis Cardenas took 1st and won Outstanding Wrestler, Sammy Smith took 1st, Matty Gazda took 2nd, and Evan Lopez, Eddie Malatin and Preston Shorter took 3rd.
Boys finished 1st in the Silver Bracket with a 7-1 record at the Southwest Shootout (NM)
Girls finished in 8th place as a team with 4 individual placers at the Southwest Shootout (NM): Aubrey Cunningham and Kaylee Rivera took 3rd, and Mia Ybarra and Natalie Ahoia took 4th.

Individual Accomplishments:
Travis Cardenas took 2nd in Freestyle and 3rd in Greco at the PanAm Games on November 24-25.
Travis Cardenas won the Greco and Freestyle Pan Am Trials and will be representing the U.S. Team in the Pan American Tournament in November.
Travis Cardenas took 5th in 16U Nationals in Fargo for 2023
Travis Cardenas became a National Champion at UWW taking 1st in Freestyle in the 15U Division.
At Sectionals Anthony Rivera, Sammy Smith, Travis Cardenas and Gabe Fuentes took 2nd and David Hinojosa and Preston Shorter took 4th.

4th at Jerry Benson Tournament as a team with 2 Outstanding Wrestler awards to Brock Badke 144 and Sammy Smith 106. Other placers: Gabe Fuentes 1st, David Hinojosa 3rd, Austin Lloyd 5th, Connor Newton 5th
11th at Mile High as a Team. Sammy Smith took 5th, Brock Badke took 4th, and Gabe Fuentes took 5th
Sammy Smith and Gabe Fuentes both placed 5th at Flowing Wells for boys and Alayna Tello took 4th for the girls.
