HEAD COACHES:

Vidal Mejia is inducted into the Arizona Hall of Fame. He has been the CHS head coach for the past 22 seasons. He has won 1 State Title and finished in the top 5, seven different times. He has coached 5 National Champions, 10 All-Americans, 12 State Champions, and 56 State Placers.

Michael Fujimori is the Co-Head Men’s Coach. He wrestled for Clackamas Community College and ASU and was a head coach in Maricopa last season.

ASSISTANT COACHES:

Curtis Owen has been on the CHS coaching staff for 19 seasons. He wrestled at North Idaho College where he was an NJCAA National Champion and was a NCAA D-I All-American for ASU.

Manny Reyes Manny is a former CHS wrestler where he was an AZ State Runner-up and then went on to compete at Dickinson State University for 4 seasons.

Sisto Rosales has been on the CHS coaching staff for over 30 years. He was CHS’s first State Champion. He was a NJCAA All-American for Mesa Community College.

Andrew Valuikas is the head freshman coach. Andrew was also former standout CHS wrestler.

Ryleigh Dye is the women’s varsity assistant coach. Ryleigh was a 2 x State Placer for CHS and is in her 2nd year of coaching at CHS.

Brock Badke is in his 2nd year of JV/Varsity coaching at CHS. Brock was a State Placer for CHS.
